HISTORY
CARE (cfe) was established in 2008 to support BME (but not exclusively) living in Yorkshire, many of whom are experiencing disadvantages such as poverty, social inclusion and discrimination.  To empower, inform and educate the BME (but not exclusively) to enable them to overcome disadvantage, social exclusion and effectively participate in the social and economic regeneration of marginalised communities and individuals in Yorkshire.

CARE (cfe) is an accredited Centre by City & Guild and OCR to offer ESOL, Literacy and Numeracy.  We are also registered with Office of Immigration Services Commission (OISC) to give immigration advice.

MISSION
The Social mission of CARE (cfe) is “to support people facing disadvantage by empowering and engaging with them to help improve their overall quality of life”.

CARE (cfe) is a Company Limited by Guarantee with Charitable Status and we believe that this model will reflect achievement of both our financial and social aims.

CARE (cfe) uses the vehicle of advisory service to support people to obtain the skills, confidence and self-esteem to gain sustainable opportunities. CARE (cfe) is a Company Limited by Guarantee with Charitable Status and we believe that this model will reflect achievement of both our financial and social aims.

For us at CARE (cfe), we recognise that for many people in our local community, especially those that come from BME groups, there are still many barriers that prevent them from having the same quality of opportunity as other people enjoy.

We believe that we can create and provide unique services that will help people realise their aspirations and live a better life.  We are a value-led social business that is proud to combine the delivery of providing first class service with the achievement of our clearly defined social aims.

At CARE (cfe) we believe being socially enterprising is a state of mind and that regardless of any legal structure, we will have the ability to act in such a way to bring about positive changes in the world.
